Hi, I’m Andrea.

I’m web developer in Madison, Wisconsin where I currently work full time for Forte. We launched a site redesign in August 2017.

You may know me as Andrea Wetzel, but I recently married and changed my name. I blog at Wisconsin Verbs, mostly about cross country skiing.

Web Development

I enjoy using Craft CMS and WordPress, but have experience building websites with other content management systems as well as static sites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Check out some of my recent work:

Wisconsin Verbs

Wisconsin Verbs Website

Wisconsin Verbs is my personal WordPress blog. It’s not only a great excuse to write about things I love, but a sandbox to experiment in.

Madison has a vibrant community of developers, designers and all around great people. Here are some communities that I'm proud to be a part of:

I went to school for journalism and still like to write.

Wisconsin Verbs

“Wisconsin Skis: 2015 American Birkebeiner”

“Why My Journalism Degree Wasn’t a Complete Waste of Money”

Bicycle Retailer Industry News (BRAIN)

“How I Became a Bike Commuter”

If I’m not building a website or learning new skills, you can probably find me outside. I like to hike, ski, bike, run and go on adventures with Lola the three-legged lab.

She is a frequent star of my Instagram feed.

Lola is thrilled that it's a bit cooler today.
